About Wyoming Weatherization Services and What We Do
Wyoming Weatherization Services is a non-profit organization that is Federally funded.  We provide weatherization assistance services as a sub-grantee for the State of Wyoming Department of Family Services.

Wyoming Weatherization Services has successfully provided weatherization assistance services in Wyoming for over 9 years.  We have a highly qualified staff with combined experience of over 200 years.  We strive for maximum practical energy conservation in the dwellings of low-income persons.

We currently provide services to the following counties in Wyoming:

  • Big Horn

  • Park
  • Lincoln

  • Hot Springs

Wyoming Weatherization Services assists in improving the health, safety and energy efficiency of homes, while helping to save money on utility bills.  The no cost weatherization program provides many valuable services to homes such as:
  • Insulating Attics, Walls, Floors, Heat Ducts, Water Heater Pipes, and Water Heaters
  • Testing the Safety and Efficiency of the Heating Systems
  • Testing and Installing Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarms
  • Providing Information about how to keep the Home Safe and Energy Efficient
  • Replacing old Energy-Consuming Refrigerators

Efforts are also made to achieve maximum energy savings and reduce health & safety hazards.  This may include:
  • Combustion Appliance Adjustment, Repair or Replacement
  • Ventilation for Combustion Air and Moisture
  • Lead-Based Paint using Lead-Safe Work Practices
  • Air Infiltration
  • Sealing Air Leaks
  • Repair or Replacing Broken Glass
  • Heat Loss
  • Interior and Exterior Caulking
  • Weather-stripping Doors
